Este es mi madre de España. Ella es muy buena cocinera. La casa donde vivo en es muy bonito pero pequeño. Me encanta vivir en la culture español que me rodea. Me ayuda aprender muy rápido.

Yo viaja a Barcelona y hace mucho sol. Conocí muchos amigos en Barcelona. Mi parte favorita de Barcelona fue la Sagrada Familia. Se trata de un magnifico edificio. Me gusta la calle de las Ramblas. Mucha gente. El parque de la ciudad es muy bonito. Tiene una gran fuente en el parque zoológico y está muy cerca del centro.

Me gusta aprender español. Para celebrar el Martes de Campo fuimos a la playa. Fuimos a la playa de San Juan de la Arena. Estuvimos comiendo en el campo cerca del agua del mar. Comimos bollo preñado, empanada, pizza, tortilla de patatas, y bebimos cerveza y refrescos. El postre era pasteles, dulces, y tortas. Empezó a llover así que tuvimos que mover todos nuestros alimentos. Después de comer hemos jugamos algunos juegos típicos de España. Mi familia era muy buena porque me explico cómo jugar. Juntos nos lo pasamos muy bien . La familia está muy paciente con mi español.

La ciudad de Oviedo es muy bonita. Me gustan las grandes montañas porque me recuerdan a las montañas de Utah.

I am really excited for my experience during the study abroad. It will be a fun and challenging experience. I have been in europe now for almost 2 weeks and have met so many amazing people already. It will be hard living with a host family not knowing at all what to expect. I do look forward to meeting them and getting to know them. Forcing yourself to talk to people is the best way to work on a foreign language so Im really excited to immerse myself into it.

I have been staying in hostels and must say its the best way to stay social while traveling alone. I was surprised to find out how many people travel alone. I found people traveling alone cling to others traveling alone. It has been crazy here in spain with all the Futbol games going on. People rioting in the streets and singing at the top of their lungs.

I went on a bike tour of Barcelona today and it was so much fun. We went all over the city and saw a lot of Goudi architecture everywhere. His work amazes me. The weather has been so beautiful these last few days. I've decided to relax in barcelona till the study abroad so I don't have to rush everywhere and can have some time to relax before school starts. So Exciting!
